DINE WITH FR8 NETWORK-GANGNAM STYLE
Day one of Deconomy Week (Monday) saw us at the FR8 NETWORK Investor Dinner. Enjoying Izakaya style dining with over 35 members of the block chain community in the Gangnam District of Seoul.
Some Forbes 30 Under 30 Members popped in as well, which was a nice addition to the guest list 😉
Around 10 PM Ling Qing (VP of Engineering and Max (International Relations) delivered a collaborative speech on the future of FR8 Network.
This event generated a large amount of interest in FR8 Network, as well as developed a large network prior to the main event of the week.
DECONOMY- DAY ONE
Day one of Deconomy Conference saw some heavyweights diving deep on large pressing topics in the Blockchain Space.
We arrived about 8 AM and jumped straight into it.
Catching Day 1 Tracks like the Paradigm Shift to Open Protocols, featuring the wildly popular David Chaum and Dr. Craig S Wright together in a panel discussion specifically discussing “The Journey to a Peer-to-Peer Cash System”.
Day 1 also saw us covering Track Topics about the State of Blockchain and Current Market Trends which served as an umbrella for various discussions such as
- “Startups in Blockchain”
- “Will Cryptocurrency Market Survive?”
- “The Future of Korean Cryptocurrency Market”
I was fortunate to see and speak with such high profile members of this community weighing in with their opinions.
BOTTEGA LOUNGE GOES BLOCKCHAIN #INTHEVIP
For all of us at Decentral Solutions, FR8 Network, and Crypto Social Club, the week had been leading up to this moment.
From ground zero we pulled off yet another party for the blockchain space.
Featuring over 150 prominent members of the crypto space including several key speakers from Deconomy, we took over the brand new Bottega Lounge in Cheongdam, Crypto Style.
Kicking off the night around 9 PM and running into the early morning, what took place was in my opinion the best event of the week.
It’s always eye opening to see this many people come together for a night away from the high strung networking we endure in the day to day life.
Bottega Lounge truly captured what a young, fresh community of people can do when placed in the same space together.

Deconomy Day Two- Vitalik Takes The Stage
Day Two of Deconomy saw a bit of a topic shift, veering more into the Regulation, Industry Evolution, and Mainstream Adoption of the Blockchain Space in the first half of the day.
Seeing members of top Korean and US Law firms, and more enter discussions like
- “Central Bank Digital Currency and its Future”
- “Regulating Cryptocurrencies”
- “Issuance of Securities on Ethereum — The Coming Crypto-finance Evolution”
The second half of Day Two was all about Ethereum
Keynote Presentations from Ethereum Members
- “Casper and Sharding” Vlad Zamfir — Research Scientist, Ethereum
- “What is the Ethereum Foundation?“ Ayako Miyaguchi — Executive Director, Ethereum
- “Protocol Economics and Governance” Jon Choi — Research Scientist, Ethereum
- “Vision for Ethereum” Vitalik Buterin — Founder, Ethereum
We also saw a panel discussion featuring Vitalik and friends on Building and Scaling Ethereum
Day Two gave insight into what is possible for the future of Ethereum as a whole, where block chain can go in the future, and what issues we may face.
After this day, I’m excited as hell to watch the next 24 months unfold.

FINAL WORDS
The Inaugural Deconomy Week in Seoul was huge.
Between the people, the events, and the speakers, all teams involved delivered something extraordinary.
The Korean Blockchain market is booming right now, and this event just goes to show it won’t stop any time soon.
